Howard and Michael,
As soon as i'm able to get back into my shop, I'll dig the papers from that FAX of the pages of the apprentice handbook up and get copies to you.

I'll sift through some of them to eliminate those that are of violin only nature or lss than useful. There was some loss of clarity in translation, but I've been able to actually meet with a pair of local people who were borm and raised in Cremona area and are very familiar with the dialect of that region and they have furthered the original translation by clarifying specific terms and phrases.

A few of the things that I picked up from it are pretty fascinating and if you'll try to apply them to your guitar building, you'll be happy with the results.

Regards,
Kevin Gallagher/Omega Guitars

kevin, as i have a friend who has been after me for a few years now to build him both a violin and a mando, and both would be firsts for me,(and i have been inventively procratinating all the while), the violin info would be very welcome as well.

Kevin, how about scaning those pages and sending them to Lance for inclusion in the OLF library? I sure would like to read them, even though they are probably a little beond me at present.
